Please read this disclaimer carefully before using Snap Loans Cash. It explains what our service is, what it is not, and the Mississippi rules that apply to payday loans for Jackson borrowers.
We are a connection service, not a lender
Snap Loans Cash does not lend money, make credit decisions, or charge you any fee. We are a loan-connection service that may match your request with third-party lenders licensed to operate in Mississippi. Any loan you receive comes from an independent lender, on that lender’s terms, which you should read in full before you accept.
Mississippi payday loan rules
Payday loans (called “delayed-deposit” transactions) are legal in Mississippi under the Check Cashers Act (Miss. Code Ann. § 75-67-501 et seq.). Under that law:
- A loan may not exceed $500.
- The fee is $20 per $100 on loans up to $250 and $21.95 per $100 on loans of $251–$500.
- The term may not exceed 30 days (with a 28-day minimum for loans of $250–$500).
- Rollovers, renewals, and extensions are prohibited — you cannot pay off one payday loan with another.
- Mississippi does not cap the APR, so payday loans are a high-cost form of credit.
Cost example
A $400 payday loan for about two weeks can cost up to $87.80 in fees — roughly a 572% APR. Payday loans are short-term, higher-cost credit and are not intended for long-term financial needs. Please consider lower-cost alternatives first.
Regulator and complaints
Mississippi payday lenders are licensed and regulated by the Mississippi Department of Banking and Consumer Finance (DBCF). Rules on this page were verified on July 10, 2026 and may change; always confirm current terms with your lender and the regulator.
